Lens review: I.Fairy Tofi Gold

This time I will review the I.Fairy Tofi Gold. As you can figure out from the name, they have a yellow/golden color (that turns green-ish in dim or bad light). Their base curve is 8.6mm and their diameter is 16.2mm, which is huge. I had high expectations for these contacts because I needed some that were fairly enlarging, had a noticeable golden color and were comfortable. My previous yellow contacts never met all of these requirements

So, what do you think? Do they fill the requirements? For me they do. The only thing I am a bit displeased about is that they look green-ish in certain lights. But otherwise it's not really a problem because they are still very pretty.

In short:

Color: 9/10

It is the yellow I wanted. The only flaws are that they sometimes look greenish. Their beautiful yellow shade makes up for this. They are pretty even in dim light.

Design: 10/10

Amazing flower-ish pattern. One of the most beautiful lens designs I've seen.
Opacity: 9/10
Very opaque, except for the big pupil hole.

Enlargement: 10/10

Much better than expected. They give me big and gorgeous eyes.

Comfort: 9/10

They take quite a while to dry out and I don't feel them in my eyes. The only drawback is that they slightly blur my side vision; I sometimes see dark corners.
Naturalness: 1/10
They're literally eating up my eyes.

These contacts refused to cooperate at first.

Now pouring it in my palm... all the solution came out, but the lens stayed.

Lens review: EOS New Adult Brown

This time I bought the New Adult Brown lenses; the brand is EOS. They also go under the name EOS Blytheye Brown. Although they have "brown" in the name, their color is more yellow than brown and this is exactly why I wanted them.

I popped the contacts into my eyes without problems and went to take pics. Shiro Samurai is the photographer.

These are very comfortable to wear but I was disappointed by the color. I was hoping for a more noticeable yellow but they blend into my natural eye color instead, which is a mix of light green and blue. I assume that these look brown on dark eyes though.

Their base curve is 8.6mm and diameter is 14.0mm.

In short:

Color: 7/10
They're definitely not in-your-face yellow but I'm still giving 7 because they give this unnatural color that isn't yellow or brown. They're somewhere in between; it doesn't look downright freaky but it's still pretty obvious that your eye color isn't normal.
Design: 7/10
Simple and cool.
Opacity: 7/10
My eye color slightly affects the lenses' color but you can still obviously tell they're in my eyes.
Enlargement: 4/10
Pretty small for being circle lenses. They can be worn as everyday contacts; they don't give big eyes.
Comfort: 10/10
I was surprised by how comfortable these are. I could wear them for a long time without even feeling them. They don't hinder my vision at all and I completely forget that I'm wearing them. I wore them for probably more than eight hours in a row without problems. I took them off because it was getting late, not because of comfort issues. Not recommended.
Naturalness: 5/10
They don't jump at you but I can't say that they are my real eyes either. Someone actually noticed on the first glance that I was wearing contacts.

Lens review: Princess Pinky Eclipse Gray

The Princess Pinky Eclipse series is new on PinkyParadise so I was curious about them. They're supposed to give you huge eyes for a cute effect.As the title says, I'm reviewing the Gray ones

Contacts in the case. Suspiciously transparent... Do they really do anything?

One lens in.

I was worried that contacts this big would only look good on brown/dark eyes. I also feared that they would give me a case of freaky eyes but it doesn't seem to be the case.
I must say that they're among the most comfortable contacts I have ever worn. Since the transparent hole in the middle is very big, they don't hinder my vision at all. I basically put them on and then forget about them. I could also wear them for the whole day without problems.
As expected, the enlarging effect is very noticeable. It's impressive with proper make-up and false eyelashes, but the contacts alone without any make-up or falsies look weird. I would say the Princess Pinky Eclipse are perfect for cute and doll-ish styles and cosplay.

30th of November 2014 I was about to throw away the Eclipse Gray because they had lost a lot on comfort. Last time I wore them it felt like they dried out fast and I took this as a sign: time to throw them away

They're obviously gray but fairly light. It's a pretty color.
Design: 8/10
Simple but pretty.
Opacity: 8/10
Much more opaque than they look. Gives a nice "halo" effect where your natural iris ends.
Enlargement: 10/10
They're simply huge!
Comfort: 8/10
They are comfy but they move quite much in my eyes (like every second time when I blink) so it can be slightly annoying...
Naturalness: 3/10
Only the color is natural.

Princess Pinky Eclipse Brown

Lens review: Vassen Latte Pink

Not long ago Valkoinen Samurai  informed me of a sale on Pinky Paradise. I had decided on buying new contacts so I checked the sale too and found this.
In other words, the Vassen Latte Pink were on sale. They can also be found under the name Kimchi Mio Pink.

I tried them on very soon after I got them because I was really curious about them; I hadn't tried pink before.
 All pictures are taken by Valkoinen Samurai, including the one showing contacts in the bottles.

Ok, I love the pattern. It's gorgeous and it blends into my eye color, and best of all it doesn't hinder my vision at all. These are also very comfortable to wear, I didn't feel them for hours and I could easily forget I had them on.
And they actually look pink!
What makes them even prettier is that they give cute enlarging effect, and thanks to the pattern it looks almost natural.


In short:

Color: 8/10
They are pink but in dimmer light you can't tell the color right away. They have this little bit of black and brown that darkens the color but it's very pretty.
Design: 10/10
Amazing pattern, and the color mix is beautiful too.
Opacity: 7/10
Unevenly opaque. Some parts of the design shows your real eye color. The pink color is opaque though.
Enlargement: 8/10
Pretty enlarging but not unnatural-looking either. They can be worn casually.
Comfort: 10/10
Very comfortable. It takes several hours until they dry out.
Naturalness: 3/10
Color and pattern aren't natural at all.
