Happy New Year!

Hi everyone!
I was too lazy and too unskilled with my own computer to make a proper "cosplay year summary" post so I will only wish you all a very happy new year! May this year shine upon us all with the light of motivation so that we won't be lazy and won't procrastinate our cosplay work! Not gonna happen.
2013 is very special for me because my life has changed so much during this year; I have moved to Scandinavia, I have cosplayed here and attended cons here. It's an adventure that I enjoy very much and so I wish for this to go on in 2014 and many coming years.

Have at least the list of the cons in which I was seen trolling around in 2013! Because I'm not that lazy, right?
- Animecon X (13th-14th of July, Kuopio), where I met my twin Chizuru, Sairu-chan, as well as Ri-tan <3 I also met CissyDella a wild Ahri appears!! ~
Animecon was a wonderful experience for me. I had only been to a con once before (in France) and it was a specific con; Animecon was very different and as it was my first Scandinavian con I was really excited about it! It totally met my expectations and I was so happy about meeting people and being in the con atmosphere :'D I also made friends with Jäätynyt Enkeli, whom I was traveling with. And last but not least, Animecon was an amazing time with my boyfriend Valkoinen Samurai <3

- Oulun animeseminaari (17th-18th of August, Oulu duh)
It was a smaller and nice con; the experience of a different kind of con was very appreciated and interesting. I met Sairu-chan again (yay!) and had very nostalgic feelings about cosplaying from Bleach again. DEM FEELS. It all had this chill feeling that's different from a big con like Animecon, but just as enjoyable.

- Tracon 8 (14th-15th of September, Tampere)
Tracon was a blast. Period. I experienced a con held in a luxurious building, as well as sharing a room with con friends oh the derps, awesome photoshoots and a free paskahalvaus when a bloody Hijikata appeared... :'D I met my friends again and had a lot of fun, saw awesome cosplays and the whole con was basically filled with awesome! I was sad to go home at the end of it...

- Kemin mangapäivä (5th of October, Kemi DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH)
It was a very small event but comfy nonetheless. It was mostly about hanging around with my friends; I was the odd one out in a Hakuouki cosplay group because I was cosplaying a normal version when everyone went SSL. Oh well it wasn't bad because the atmosphere was friendly ~ I met Jennysja and derped around with my other friends, it was nice!

- Chibicon (9th of November, Oulu)
Chibicon was yet another kind of con because it was seemingly centered on one manga, which I haven't read. It was still nice because there were cool cosplayers and although it was cold it was enjoyable ~ The trip to the con and stay at Sairu-chan's place was actually just as interesting as the con and I regret nothing! >D

All of these cons took place in Finland (Thanks, captain Obvious :) ) but I will attend Swedish cons next year as well. I want to, because I can neither speak nor understand Finnish so I am a bit language-lost but I am better at Swedish :D

So see you all people in 2014, and I'm outta here before the year shifts!
Happy new year 2014 everyone! :D

PMK!Okita test

I finally had a free day yesterday (been working a lot lately, blörgh) so I thought it would be time for some cosplay experiencing! My bad idea this time was to do some wounded!Okita version. I explain: I wanted to have my kimono loose but since I'm a girl, I had to come up with a trick to, y'know, hide some things. So I thought about wrapping my chest in bandages (in addition to usual binding, don't ever bind with only bandages!) to hide my binder.
One thing: binding only with bandages, even elastic ones (type Ace bandages) is DANGEROUS. I've done it once and put myself in danger because it was too tight, I had problems breathing and it started being very painful after some minutes. Don't ever do it, seriously.
This time, I used a proper binder and wrapped bandages over it, but it was just as dangerous. See, all I had was non-elastic bandages for some reason. Well, sure it looks historically accurate, and above all they are pure white (not the case with proper elastic bandages) but obviously, when you have a lot of them wrapped around your chest, it will block your breathing.
Sure it looked cool, and I could have my kimono open without having anything showing, but I started having problems breathing right away. I could only breathe shallowly and fast; breathing fully was possible but required some effort, and if I did not try hard enough I would cough and that's not funny when your breathing is limited to under half of your normal breathing ability.
I will still share the few pictures I could get (before the camera died) but whoever is reading this, please don't be as stupid as me. Don't use non-elastic bandages. I kept them on for under 1h and it was getting bad when I took them off though I could probably have waited longer before my body reached its limit.

Cosplayer: myself as Okita Souji from Peace Maker Kurogane
Photographer: Valkoinen Samurai

I wanted to faint after these pictures were taken and my photographer was not happy about all this so I quickly went to change out of cosplay.
One last detail: wrapping bandages around one's chest is very hard when you do it on yourself. Especially if one of your shoulders doesn't go as far as the other, as it is my case. derp
In any case, please don't do it. It's really dangerous. I had to be reckless to figure out... OTL
But I'm okay now so don't worry! I'm already thinking about something that would be safer.
Until I figure it out, see ya'! ~

Chibicon 2013 summary

Okay, I know it's really about time I post this summary but you see, I wanted to wait for Sairu-chan to post hers so that we don't have the same picture. No it's not an excuse :'D Thing is, I only have decent Internet if I go freeze in the corridor so go figure.

So about Chibicon this year. It was held in Oulu the 9th of November, and it was to be my last con in 2013, meh. I will face the terrible con withdrawal syndrome until February... Aaaaaanyway, my journey to Chibicon started on Friday the 8th although Oulu is not very far away, but I took the bus with Valkoinen Samurai and Jäätynyt Enkeli to go to Sairu-chan's place and sleep over, yay! <3 We were lucky because as we were walking to Tornio's bus station with a surprisingly heavy yet small suitcase a wild bus appeared and it happened to stop at Kemi, double yay! The bus ride was a lot of lag and trying not to have the suitcase escape to go back to wilderness... in a bus. Oh well, you all know that suitcases are weird things.
We arrived in Kemi and called Sairu-chan, but she was actually standing a few meters from us :'D It felt very nice to see her, but also sort of weird to see her not in cosplay, if you ask me. x)
Her mum drove us to her place and we settled in what would be our place to sleep: a house wagon. Swag. It was actually rather comfy, a bit cold but very funny crammed to be the four of us in here. I can say it was one of the weirdest nights of my life. XD

We woke up early on Saturday to put on cosplays before Sairu-chan's grandma drove us all to Chibicon. The amount of lag was too damn high, people. x) Valkoinen Samurai and I already had our con tickets; I think I had a picture of the ticket somewhere but I don't know where it went. Maybe I'll edit this post if I find it. Maybe. So the challenge was to put on the armband ticket without having it too tight so that I could take it off without killing it after the con was over. Quite the task if you ask me! But I won, hoho, Chibicon ticket you are mine! >D
So when we got to the con we first walked around to check the merchandise and the artist alley. Have a random con picture ~

Quality is "meh" because this was taken with my own camera and unedited.

I saw a familiar table and it brought a smile to my lips because I had bought something from these people at the previous con, and I still need to make a post about it, heheh. You will know in time. ~
There was some cool stuff but I didn't buy anything and soon enough SOON we went outside to... surprise, surprise, photoshoot! Supplies, motherfucker.
I didn't take part in the photoshoot because I already have quite a lot of pictures of my Chizuru cosplay, and with Valkoinen Samurai as Ryunosuke Ibuki and Sairu-chan as Kosuzu, well I was from the wrong season. Period. But seriously, go check out the pictures on their blogs, they're awesome :'D
I only had one picture but I won't post it because I look way too derp. Hello hair blocking my face. D<
If any, I would say...
Bonus pictures:

I don't remember what happened and I know it looks bad when I'm trying to stifle a laugh ^^;

I was freezing so f...ing much, how do you people do it? ;_; Kosuzu saved my life ;A;

I insisted a little to go back inside because I was really cold, and so we did. Jäätynyt Enkeli (who was the photographer) also wanted to go back inside. He was cosplaying Uryū Ishida from Bleach by the way, and totally did meme faces to troll while we were photoshooting. I'm sad we couldn't get a picture of these because seriously, how does he do this with his face?
We were starting to get hungry but... I was like not sure if want to go outside and walk in this cold and with zori; besides none of us really knew this location well and it looked like there was no cheap food possibility close by... So we trolled to the con cafeteria and saw that there was a MEGASIZE bakery that was surprisingly cheap for its size so each of us had one, yay!

Feat. metsämansikka drink. Because it's one of the flavors I can recognize in Finnish.

It was surprisingly good I must say. After this fika episode, we went to troll some more and re-check the merchandise. We had planned to watch the cosplay competition but it seems that pretty much all congoers had had the same idea, so... we gave up. Sorry CissyDella! But your Ahri cosplay (League of Draven Legends) looked cool, you know! :'D
We also met this one guy whom we saw at Oulun animeseminaari and Kemin mangapäivää and had a random bathroom joke, it was very nice to talk to him again!
Also at some point Jäätynyt Enkeli pointed at a plushie and I realized that it was... dun dun dunnnnnnn... Piggie! (from Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite) I kinda wanted to buy it, as well as a small Pinkie Pie plushie hello bro! but I had pretty much no cash and the seller wouldn't take credit cards. I was sad and rather pissed because I didn't want to walk to the closest hole-in-the-wall (yeah slang, problem?) but Valkoinen Samurai cheered me up. It was getting a bit late and after going to check the artist alley again, I played some Monster Hunter in a corner with him (hunting corner for the win, hohoho) and not long after this Sairu-chan's grandma came to pick us up.
It turned out that we couldn't go home on the same evening so we slept over at Sairu-chan's again. Soooo... have a random after-the-con house wagon picture!

Tired Chizuru is tired...

With this my cosplay year 2013 ended! I am a bit sad but don't worry, I will still post about random home cosplaying >D I have plans.
I'm outta here, see you! :D

Chibicon cosplay plans

*looks at calendar*
Merde. I forgot to write my cosplays plans for Chibicon! It's a small con that will be held the 9th of November in Oulu; since my friends are going and it's not far from here, I am attending as well! Yay! ~
So here comes my planned cosplay for this northern event - careful people, it's gonna be original not.

Yukimura Chizuru
Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan

Here I am as Chizuru again! Yeah, I really don't have so many cosplays here. And I really need to work on my future cosplays. And I really need space.
I wanted to do travel!Chizuru for Chibicon but I had a surprise, motherf*cker! work overload from nowhere (still not done...) so I'll just save it for later. No I'm not being lazy.
See you guys at Chibicon! ~

Lens review: G&G Big Size Circle Violet

A little while ago I ordered these violet contact lenses from Pinky Paradise (along with other lenses but these are not to be revealed just yet ~). I originally planned to use them for Okita Souji from Peace Maker Kurogane (and I still do) but I opened them before cosplaying him again because... c'mon, they are so ~fab~. I really like violet contacts and I was feeling like F*CK BEING NORMAL one day so I tried them on and here are the pictures!

The brand is G&G Big Size Circle Violet.
Pictures were taken by Valkoinen Samurai.

Normal indoors light.

Flash.

This one was taken with Valkoinen Samurai's older camera.

One lens in. Flash photo taken with the SLR camera. Have some rasetsu!hair bombing ~

I must say that I really like these contacts; they are quite enlarging and despite being violet, they are not IN_YOUR_FACE. In dim light, it's very hard to tell the color of my eyes when I have these on, and in outdoors light, people don't notice right away. What's more, they are really comfortable to wear. I stop feeling them in my eyes after five minutes or so, which is very appreciated with colored contacts. I have no vision limitation (ie no colored halo or blur at the limit of my vision), which often happens with colored contacts. They don't feel "thick" either (my yellow contacts do, in addition to limiting my vision).
Basically, I'll be wearing them ~just for the hell of it~ and also to troll in town and see if people notice! <3

 In short:

Color: 8/10
Noticeable color but in dimmer light it turns into this undefinable contact lenses color. They also look blue-ish at times but most often it's a beautiful violet. The black outline makes them even cooler.
Design: 7/10
Simple design but it looks good!
Opacity: 8/10
They only show a little of my real eye color.
Enlargement: 7/10
They are enlarging but don't give huge doll eyes.
Comfort: 8/10
Can be worn for several hours in a row without problems. :)
Naturalness: 3/10
Violet eyes with this kind of pattern? Totally natural. ;)

That's all for today and enough derp!colors, see ya'!

Hello frozen feet: Okita and Chizuru photoshoot

Okay, I know it's reeeeeaaaaaally about time that I post this because this photoshoot happened on the 6th of October... Go figure. But I'm not here to justify myself, I'm here to spam the Internet with cosplay pictures, deal with it! <3
So, after Kemi's manga day that took place on the 5th, Sairu-chan stayed at Valkoinen Samurai's place and the three of us decided to troll and have a photoshoot on the following day. Yay ~ We had originally planned to have Sairu-chan as Chizuru, Valkoinen Samurai as rasetsu!Hijikata and myself as oni!Chizuru but because Valkoinen Samurai couldn't cosplay Hijikata because of a drastic lack of swords, he decided to cosplay yukata!Okita instead. Yay! <3 I remained a human and saved my transformation into an oni for a future photoshoot hi hi and here are the pictures we got! Have some spamming ;)

Cosplayers: Valkoinen Samurai as Okita Souji (wearing the yukata he has when bedridden)
Hasakitsuki as Yukimura Chizuru

Photographer: Sairu-chan

Okita your hands are so cold ;A;

We had the photoshoot outside the building where Valkoinen Samurai lives, and yes it was cold. My feet were turning into icecubes but I wasn't the one to complain because I had socks. Okita didn't have any and I felt sorry for his frozen feet... And his hands were really cold as ice so I had a little bit of in-character'dness (I know this is not a word, now it is one ~). I'm really happy we had Sairu-chan as a photographer, but she did deserve her time to shine so we had a Chizurus swap and I let her be in the spotlight :D The pictures can be seen on her blog.
I must say that I got really emotional while we were shooting, because Okita is my favorite character in Hakuouki and other historical series and it wasn't nothing to see him with blood on his face and touch his cold hands and I got a little carried away. We rushed back inside quite soon though because both Chizurus were worried about Okita who was only wearing a yukata...
And we had some hot chocolate. <3 life savior
But I will let you with this picture spam for now, I'm out ~

Kemi's manga day: Hakuouki and the Goblet of Fire

I know. I know. Kemi's manga day (Kemin mangapäivä) was the 5th October. I am horribly late. Well, I can say for my defense that my Internet has been concentrated shit lately so this is partly why I haven't uploaded anything in... forever. So, very bad Internet along with another reason, which is personal and there you have it. Sorry guys.
But here comes my summary for this small northern event! at long last...
We were driven to Kemi in the morning by Valkoinen Samurai's mum (thank you ;A;) and as we arrived at the con building and stepped out of the car, a wild Sairu-chan appeared! She was cosplaying SSL!Chizuru and with her came Cissydella as SSL!Harada. The timing was really perfect and I was really happy to see my twin Chizuru again. <3
We headed inside after some talk in Finnish during which I stared at SSL!Hijikata, aka Valkoinen Samurai. We checked the con merchandise and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of ~fab~ in such a small event! After some hesitation and a trip to the shopping center to take out cash because I'm so broke, I bought fluffy red ears and a tail. I will use them for a future cosplay, hohoho ~
And of course, Valkoinen Samurai had to have fun and take a picture...

Ummmm... yeah. The ears aren't for Chizuru.
And before you ask, yes I was the only one NOT cosplaying from SSL Hakuouki. Because I don't wear skirts I had no time to make a SSL!Chizuru costume before Kemi's manga day D': I know I suck, but I will end up cosplaying this version anyway SOON someday.
We then went to the library that is INSIDE the con building (pretty cool if you ask me) and derped around and waited for Shinpachi-sensei (Jennysja). I played some Monster Hunter (Freedom Unite) on PSP with Valkoinen Samurai during that time and we failed to kill the Tigrex... again. </3
When Jennysja arrived, we went outside to photoshoot! As I was the odd one out only one stuck in the past with a kimono version, I was the photographer but... I really am no good photographer. And most of the pictures turned out to be derp anyway because everyone was cracking up all the time. Chizuru was the most serious of all - every time I wanted to take a picture, she seemed to be the one who was serious-facing and the others were derping around :'D
It was a very fun time but it was pretty cold and windy and I wasn't feeling so good for a personal reason don't ask. Also, I am not from Scandinavia and thus not yet used to the cold here </3 So as I was freezing, Cissydella saved my life by lending me her jacket (thanks ;A;). And Valkoinen Samurai had to take a picture again.

Noooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuu //shy_out
Ahem well. We then trolled walked back inside to photoshoot in the library and in spite of the photobombing E.T. that bothered the shit out of me, it went pretty well :D The pictures can be seen on Valkoinen Samurai's blog (ie I don't have them).
I must say it was really funny to be the photographer, especially considering the amount of derp :D I only wish I were a better photographer D< but I am getting a lot of practice thanks to a certain someone hohoho.
Next activity of the day: eating.
Because yes, it was necessary. So we just trolled to a close by Chinese restaurant...

DAT NAME. Sorry but... *giggles around*

And we had our SSL!Chizuru taking stalker pictures ~

I see what you did there ~

The food was pretty cool, not the best Chinese food I've ever eaten but still good.
We then (t)rolled back to the library for more photoshooting and I let Sairu-chan be the photographer this time. Meanwhile, I just sat and... yeah. I was a bit tired, I got a little bit bored, and then I realized that "Hey wait, this is Finland, ie officially a two-language country... And we are in a library... And I can understand some written Swedish... And what do I see here..."
SWEDISH HARRY POTTER OH MY GOD.
Needless to say that I had to check. And this is how I ended up reading a few pages of the Swedish translation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...

I actually read the exact same extract that first got me into reading the series - except that the first time I read this extract, it was at my cousin's, and in French. But the Swedish translation isn't all that bad... because yes, as I was surprised to see it, I could actually understand rather well.
I got a little distracted from Voldemort teasing Harry when Harada decided to photobomb Hijikata's pictures, but it was very funny to watch them ~
After this Harry Potter episode, we split up and I ended up going with Valkoinen Samurai to watch people play dancing games. It was nice to watch, but I wish they had played Parallel Hearts by Fiction Junction! <3 I love this song. ~
Oh well, while we were sitting there and since they didn't play Parallel Hearts I decided to be a paparazzi take some random picture that can be seen on Valkoinen Samurai's blog. Someone also walked by and mistook him for Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler), which I could understand but... come on, Sebastian doesn't have a ~fab~ purple tie ;) He also took a few pictures of me bored sitting randomly and that's how it looks:

I was not actually bored though, just a bit tired.
Sairu-chan's mum then came to pick us up and drove us to Valkoinen Samurai's place in Sweden, where our SSL!Chizuru slept over, yay ~ <3 We had a lot of fun and another photoshoot on the following day but I will write about this in a separate post if I can get derpternet to work
Manga day was really nice, it was cool to hang around with friends even though I don't know so many people in Finland yet, but everyone was kind to me although I don't speak Finnish, thank you guys ~
I'm on coffee hype for now, bye bye ~

Kemi's manga day cosplay plans

The con season is drawing to an end at least when you're too broke to go to Närcon Vinter so here I am going to smaller events to feed my need for cosplay and conventions :'D Yes, this all is to say I will attend Kemi's manga day (Kemin mangapäivä) in... *dun dun duuuuun* Kemi. No shit, Sherlock.
So seemingly there are several SSL Hakuouki cosplayers around, hmm? Well I'll be the one forever alone in kimono stuck in the past :'D

Yukimura Chizuru - Hakuouki

There was no way I would have time to make a SSL Chizuru costume in time for this event and I don't feel like debuting another cosplay in such a small event *coughOkitacough* so here I go with the normal kimono and evil hakama version! yay!
And I can't be bothered to take my sword or Ochimizu bottle either, I'll just troll around with our SSL Chizuru ~
See you people there!

Better late than never: Tracon 8 summary

After much too long recovering from major con lag and fixing pictures having Valkoinen Samurai fixing pictures for me (because my lagtop is so crappy that it doesn't even have a software for editing pictures </3) it's time for the long-awaited or not con summary!
I traveled mostly with Valkoinen Samurai and our journey started on Friday morning already, because we had to basically cross Finland to go to Tracon. Jäätynyt Enkeli was with us when we were driven to Kemi by his and Valkoinen Samurai's stepdad who was very kind to take time for us. I thought we could have biked to Finland, but with a f*cking suitcase? My brain sure was fried when I came up with that. In Kemi we had time to go to Prisma to buy provisions necessary for survival, namely Moomin lemonade and candies.

Prisma. (no shit, Sherlock)

Deal with it <3

We then waited for the person who was to drive us to southern Finland and she turned up after a little while. She drove us first to Oulu, where Jäätynyt Enkeli parted ways with us to take the train on his own, as the driver picked up her cousin in Oulu and seeing the amount of luggage, there was no way to fit 5 persons in the car.Without counting the 3 big suitcases and additional stuff.
Nothing more happened during the trip; as you people know (or don't know), driving across Finland means that you'll see some forests and lakes, and pretty much nothing else. We arrived in Orivesi in the evening, where we had to pee take the train to Tampere.

Orivesi train station.

It was a little cold to stand here and wait but oh well, I'd better get used to the cold since I'm living in Scandinavia now!  When we got into the train, we just sat and waited for the guy-controlling-the-train-tickets to arrive so we could buy our tickets but... said guy super-speeded past us and our train trip to Tampere was free! Yay! ~
We met Ri-chan at Tampere's train station and exchanged greetings and hugs. We then walked to our hotel (an Omena hotel super close to where the con was held) with a quick detour to a nearby food store. Jäätynyt Enkeli joined us after ten in the evening and we had some hotel derps! The best of these, and by far, was when Valkoinen Samurai was eating Pantteri candies and found one of them half-molten, glued on his computer by the heat (of the computer of course).

I don't approve of stalker pictures D<

We went to bed much too late and regretted it afterwards! ~

Saturday
Our alarms rang at 8 Finnish time but no one woke up at this moment because we were all braindead :) We ended up getting our asses out of bed though and got ready for the con! I was cosplaying Sohma Kyo from Fruits Basket but half of my cosplay was borrowed from Ri-chan, as I had not time to get my own cosplay done. Thank you very much to Ri-chan, who kindly lent me their T-shirt, wig, bracelet and cat! I plan to cosplay Kyo again with my own stuff though.
In the morning I was quite worried because this would be my first time cross-playing for an entire day but it turned out to be unnecessary worry. When we headed for the con, I was Kyo, Valkoinen Samurai was Sohma Kureno (also from Fruits Basket), Ri-chan was Kaidoh Kaoru from Prince of Tennis and Jäätynyt Enkeli was Luka Crosszeria from The Betrayal Knows My Name. We walked to the con without having too many people staring at us because our cosplays were kind of casual.
At the con, Valkoinen Samurai and I waited near the information place because the Fruits Basket group was to meet at eleven, but for some reason I didn't understand (because everyone was speaking Finnish, duh), the group met at almost twelve. Meanwhile, I found Sairu-chan who was cosplaying as Arisa Uotani (Fruits Basket) and we hugged! <3 And I transformed. It was still super cool to be part of a cosplay group, I was really happy despite the language problems ^-^ And guess what we did? Photoshooting! ~
I don't have any pictures of this photoshoot but the ambiance was really good and I was feeling surprisingly comfortable as Kyo, I could even get myself to be in-character at times. Cross-playing wasn't a problem at all.
Our group then split up and I went to check the con merchandise with Valkoinen Samurai. At three, we went to attend the symphonic wind ensemble with Ri-chan, Jäätynyt Enkeli and Sairu-chan and oh damn it was good!

I was smiling when they played Pokémon Red/Blue medley because even though I don't have so much Pokémon knowledge it still sounded pleasantly familiar. I was very happy when they played the Ghibli medley because I am a great fan of Ghibli movies, I want to watch them all someday! <3 At the end they played Chocobo-Chocobo and I only regret that my bro wasn't here to listen because he has played many Final Fantasy games and so I was like: Bro, you must teleport here right now ;A;
Oh well, after the concert we walked outside the con building to go eat, but Sairu-chan left us to go help a friend who wanted to cross-play. We walked around a little while and then found a kebab place, hohohoh ~ I had some problems ordering my food because of language, and Valkoinen Samurai had to help me as usual because the people there weren't speaking English. I still ended up with something to eat and that's all I need!

As far as I'm concerned, the food was much better than expected! I approved of the meat, but not of the random stalker pictures when my face is derping so much D<
After this little kebab episode, we went back to the con half-walking half-rolling to photoshoot, yay ~
Prepare for pictures spam! >D

Cosplayer: Hasakitsuki (Sohma Kyo)
Photographer: Valkoinen Samurai

Ri-chan's cat <3

 Kyo is not amused >_<

Immah gonna kick your ass. :)

Thanks photographer ~ <3

I feel like I stole pretty much all the pose ideas from Ri-chan (along with half the cosplay) and I'm sorry about that, but I swear it wasn't my intention because I was in-character at that moment and I just had to climb a tree. Because hey, I'm a cat!

They see me chillin', they hatin' ~

I was actually surprised of how comfortable I felt as Kyo, and  I sure want to cosplay him again!
Hohoho...
Bonus picture:

Kyo said NO STALKER PICTURES!

The guys then did some more photoshooting and I sat there watching them while Ri-chan went to walk around to look at cosplays. I was a little bit cold although the day had been quite sunny and warm (considering that this is madness Finland) but hey, my pants were thin and I only had a T-shirt. And I'm not a viking yet
While walking around we bumped into Sairu-chan who had changed into a speed-made Shiemi cosplay (Ao no Exorcist) and I don't have a picture of her cosplay but she was a very cute Shiemi! She hugged me because I was cold and I transformed again D< <3
After some more photoshooting we walked back to the hotel and I couldn't be bothered to change to normal clothes so I remained Kyo until I changed to sleeping clothes. It sure was the origin of some derps.

Random evening food (surprisingly good), feat. a plastic spoon.

Also at some point I had totally forgotten that I was in cosplay (you get used to it, duh) and for some reason exclaimed "I'm a girl!" and right after this facepalm'd because Kyo plz!! It was totally out of character and quite hilarious.
We tried to go to bed a little earlier and I rolled in bed for some time before falling asleep. And I dreamt of the hotel we were in.

Sunday
We woke up at 7 quite laggy because we all had complicated cosplays and needed more time to put them on. Yes, we had super chill casual cosplays on Saturday and complicated time-consuming ones on Sunday. Don't ask, the thing called logic died when we fixed our cosplay plans.
By complicated cosplays, I mean that I was Yukimura Chizuru from Hakuouki (oni version), Valkoinen Samurai was Hijikata Toshizou, also from Hakuouki and Rasetsu version, Jäätynyt Enkeli was Kratos Aurion from Tales of Symphonia and Ri-chan was Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit. The worst part for me was to clip my horns on my wig; it took three tries before I got them right!
But as I said... we were quite laggy. And four cosplayers in one hotel room + lag = derps <3
And so I got to see Hijikata in underwear (read: juban). Random fanservice!Hijikata anyone? :'D Chizuru approves! The amount of derp then skyrocketed as we tried to imagine what would happen if this situation was reversed, i.e. having Hijikata see Chizuru in underwear. As there was only one way to know his reaction, I stepped out of the corner I was changing in without having my hakama on and so Hijikata got to see Chizuru without pants. His reaction? "Chizuru, put on some clothes!! *turns away*"
Dat laugh! Ri-chan teased that Hijikata would say this but that he would actually be like "Me gusta", which caused our underwear!Hijikata to go hide in a corner.
Errrrm we eventually became kind of serious again and after a long time struggling with horns, foot hairs, wigs and Hijikata (with clothes on) sitting on the suitcase while Chizuru was trying to close it we walked to the con with our luggage. Once there, I stayed with Hijikata to help him fix his ponytail and headband and when this was done he disappeared into the toilet for... quite a while. I was starting to wonder if his hakama had fallen down and he had had to re-tie it when the door suddenly opened and I got to see him all bloody. I must say it was quite a shock; I hadn't seen this one coming! Seemingly my face was priceless, but seriously, you must understand me. I am the poor Chizuru who -spoil alert- and therefore has horns, golden eyes and white hair and I see a bloody rasetsu!Hijikata appear in front of me through the toilet's door asking me for help! How would YOU react to this?
We then went to walk around with Kratos (Jäätynyt Enkeli) and my twin Chizuru Sairu-chan, yay! And to my horror surprise, we bumped into Kazama!! (Both the cosplay and cosplayer were awesome, but when I say "horror", I speak as Chizuru. I went to hide behind Hijikata <3).
I bought an awesome Akatsuki bag from the con, along with a Pikachu wallet, MLP FiM figures and Japanese candies that were super-tasty! I approve of green tea toffees ~ The only problem with all that STUFF is that I had to carry it all alone, because Hijikata couldn't carry anything as he would have smeared blood on everything </3 But it wasn't so bad except that whenever I was asked for a picture it would take half an hour to put all the STUFF down and I was happy to help Hijikata. C'mon, I was only carrying four bags and two cameras!
We went to photoshoot at the wooden dock near the con, and except for a little rain and a shitlot of ducks it was very cool!

Cosplayers: Hasakitsuki (Yukimura Chizuru, Oni version)
Valkoinen Samurai (Hijikata Toshizou, Rasetsu version)
Photographer: Sairu-chan

Feat. landing duck photobombing
Wiping blood. ~
After a too-damn-high amount of photobombing ducks, Hijikata went to photoshoot Ri-chan's cosplay and scare random people walking by. I stayed with my twin Chizuru (Sairu-chan) and we talked, it was nice ~ :3 When Hijikata and Bilbo came back and we walked to the con building again, we realized that we had missed the Zelda concert. I was really sad about it because I do like the Legend of Zelda series! So we just sat somewhere and chilled for a moment. Bilbo, Chizuru and Kratos left and I bought something to eat because I was about to faint </3
 Om nom nom ~
Oh well I felt better very soon and we then walked around for the rest of the day taking pictures of cosplays (more like, I was taking the pictures half of the time because I was carrying the camera and Hijikata had blood everywhere). It was a problem at some point because one of the cosplayers I wanted to take a picture of seemed to have problems understanding my English. I apologize to all the awesome cosplayers from Finland but I can't speak Finnish :'(
We had to leave around five in the evening because a long journey back to the North awaited us and so we went to change out of cosplay in the toilet that we kept locked for about an hour. We didn't get to say goodbye to Sairu-chan and Ri-chan and I am sad about that but I hope to see you again as soon as possible, my friends ~
The car trip back to the North was long and highly laggy but we made it back home safe and sound! Thanks everyone for an awesome con and awaiting the next one! <3

Here is the video of the cosplays I took a picture of during the week-end; made by Valkoinen Samurai (because my lagtop will crash if I try making a video </3).

Because it would be boring without them...
